Digital report cards

Digital report cards, from daily marks to the principal's signature

No more marks written in a book, typed into Excel and copied onto report cards. Teachers enter a mark once, and the teacher's recap, the principal's report and the report card always match.

Class 7B attendance in the teacher app: 28 present, 2 absent

How digital report cards work in KamilEdu

  1. Teachers enter marks once. Homework, unit tests, mid-term and end-of-term exams are entered on a phone or computer. Online exam marks go in without typing them again.
  2. Final grades follow the school's weighting. For example homework 30%, unit tests 30%, mid-term 20% and end-of-term 20%. The school sets the weights, not the app.
  3. Students below the passing grade show up. Teachers see straight away who needs a retest, and retest marks follow the limit the school sets.
  4. The principal looks first, then signs. A class's report cards are checked one by one, then signed together from the phone with a PIN.
  5. Parents see the report card on their phone. As soon as it is signed, it appears in the parent app.

Why schools move to digital report cards

  • The same numbers in every report

The teacher's recap, the principal's report and the student's report card use the same marks, so the numbers never differ between files.

  • No typing things twice

Subject teachers enter marks once and they are gathered for the homeroom teacher. The end of term no longer means late nights copying marks.

  • Every change is recorded

When a mark changes, the reason is recorded and the old mark is kept. Who changed what, and when, can always be seen.

  • Follows your curriculum

Terms and grading scales follow the school's curriculum, including IB and Kurikulum Merdeka, from kindergarten to high school.

  • Mid-term and end-of-term reports

Both report cards use the same marks, so nothing is put together twice.

  • Reports for the principal

Marks per class and per subject are visible all term, and can be downloaded as Excel or PDF.

Questions about digital report cards

What is a digital report card?

A report card built from the marks teachers enter in the app, calculated with the school's weighting, signed by the principal and seen by parents on their phone, with no copying from a book to Excel to the report card.

Can a mark be changed after it is saved?

Yes. The reason for the change is recorded, the old mark is kept, and who made the change is always visible.

Does it support the IB curriculum?

Yes. Terms and grading scales follow the curriculum the school uses, including IB and Kurikulum Merdeka.

How much does it cost?

Grades and report cards are in the Complete plan, Rp7,000 per student and Rp4,000 per teacher or staff member a month. If you only need grades and report cards, build your own plan.

When is the best time to start?

At the beginning of a term, so every mark is recorded from day one and the next report card comes fully from the app.
